Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for a growing retail business with approximately 40 locations. This is an in-office position based in Van Nuys, CA. The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks Online Power User and an Excel Expert
Responsibilities:
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for multi-location retail operations
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable
- General ledger maintenance
- Monthly close and financial reporting
- Sales tax tracking and reporting
- Work closely with management and CFO
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 7+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience,
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Certification preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
- Familiarity with California payroll laws and sales tax regulations.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Reliable and professional
